Emmanuelle Carette and Rachel Viné-Krupa describe the resources available in language resource centres.
In a resource centre, the data is organised and classified according to criteria that the learner understands.
It’s much easier to give advice when you have the support of such a resource centre with organised resources than when you don’t.
These resources also include one or more people who are native speakers of the language, i.e. if you’re learning English, in a resource centre you’ll be able to meet an English speaker or English speakers to put you in a face-to-face conversation.
In our system, all our resources are on a platform. There are documents, tools like dictionaries and a microphone so that learners can record themselves and keep track of their recordings.
